The Ridges

This is the second home GDG has designed for Major League Hall of Fame pitcher, Greg Maddux, and his wife, Kathy. Located in the Ridges in Las Vegas, Nevada, their 9,000 sq. ft. home opens to spectacular views of the Ridges Golf Course and the skyline lights of Las Vegas. The interior design concept for their new home was based upon its exterior desert modern architecture and the established modern interior architecture. GDG selected all the interior furnishings to complement these existing large scale, soft-modern interior elements. The clients admire the photographic artwork of Peter Lik, so GDG met with the Las Vegas Peter Lik staff and selected several original, large-scale pieces from the artist’s best work. After the clients’ approval, the art pieces were custom-framed and placed in aesthetically strategic locations in the home.
